The main mission of our department is the comprehensive treatment of oncological and surgical diseases of the stomach, intestines, liver and pancreas. We work fruitfully together with the department of antitumor drug therapy, thanks to which we follow the latest international standards for the treatment of oncological diseases at any stage.
The team of our surgical department performs laparoscopic and robotic operations, successfully applies a single surgical access (Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery, SILS) and the extraction of tumors through natural openings (Natural Orifice Specific Extraction Surgery, NOSES). We not only provide highly qualified medical care, but also train young specialists of Sechenov University, conduct master classes for doctors of surgical specialties, conduct scientific activities.
